The Iacocca Foundation receives generous support in many forms, including the
following grassroots efforts. As you’ll see, there are many little things
you can do to help – when added all up, they go a long way in supporting
our mission of finding a cure.
1 - Giveline
Giveline.com is a revolutionary online store created for the community-minded shopper. Every transaction in our store generates a charitable contribution to your favorite non-profit organization. The Iacocca Foundation will receive between 7 and 33 percent of all purchases made via this link. And now, Mr. Iacocca's new book is available at this link, with proceeds from each sale going to The Iacocca Foundation.
2 - One Last Wish
Diabetes doesn't only affect the diabetic, but it includes the family, friends and loved ones along for the ride. Marybeth Traut wrote this poignant book after losing both of her parents to diabetes. A portion of the sales at the publisher's website will be donated to the Iacocca Foundation.
3 - Usborne Books at Home

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Jay Leeuwenburg's new book will be donated to JoinLeeNow. Mr. Leeuwenburg played in the National Football League for 9 years and shares his inspirational story.

- For Car Clubs and Shows! The Lee Iacocca Award is an award for excellence. It is a one-of-a-kind elegant plaque with a likeness of Lee Iacocca and his signature engraved in gold. The judged individual award considers criteria such as interaction within the hobby, club involvement, authoring of historical articles, hands on help to other collectors, years of collector car ownership, and annual participation in automotive events. Additionally, the award considers best presentation of the individual’s car entry at the show. Requirements include a $1,000 donation to The Iacocca Foundation. 8 - Shop2Cure.com - Where Every Dollar Counts Towards a Cure
Allie Beatty began Shop2Cure.com, which capitalizes from the billion dollar online shopping industry to fund research to cure illnesses. By using Shop2Cure.com, curing diseases is an automatic benefit of a satisfying shopping experience. A percentage of the total dollar amount of your purchase is given toward clinical trials to cure illnesses.
9 - Girly Girl Studio
Heather Polke created Girly Girl Studio offering one of a kind handbags. One of her bags, Izzy, is named after her daughter Isabelle who has type 1 diabetes. 10% of the proceeds from every Izzy handbag
are donated to The Iacocca Foundation.
10 - Mary Kay Cosmetics
Evvy Bernstein is our FL State Captain, mom of Laura (12) with type 1 diabetes, and Sales Director with Mary Kay. She will donate 25% of profits from the sale of each Satin Hands Pampering Set (a fabulous gift for the holidays) to The Iacocca Foundation. Plus, each order will receive a free Cure4Lolly silicone bracelet and info card. This offer is good through December and only available to those who are not currently working with a Marky Kay consultant.
11 - Type-One Mall
The Type-One Mall is a website that presents visitors with a list of merchants willing to share a portion of their proceeds. The Type-One Mall makes use of the affiliate program offered by the LinkShare Corporation. Transaction "commissions" vary from merchant to merchant, with most in the 5-8% range. 100% of the revenues generated through the Type-One Mall's LinkShare account will go to The Iacocca Foundation!
Pete Campbell, who will manage the site with his brother Steve, believes that the Type-One Mall could raise a lot of money for the cause. 12 - GoodSearch
GoodSearch is a search engine which donates 50-percent of its revenue to the charities and schools designated by its users. Please consider using GoodSearch as your internet search engine, and indicate The Iacocca Foundation as your charity, and the foundation will receive a donation.
13 - Commemorative Diabetes Ornaments
Rimbrandts Studios has created a series of signed and numbered limited edition commemorative ornaments to support diabetes groups working on behalf of individuals with diabetes, and will donate 25% of the proceeds to an organization you specify. 14 - A Lifetime of Diabetes Slideshow
Eight and a half minutes, 60 photographs of children and adults with Type 1 Diabetes, voices from individuals with Type 1 and their caregivers interlaced with music by Nina Storey in an emotional, quality presentation perfect for fundraising, diabetes education and raising awareness of the daily struggles of Type 1 Diabetes. 15 - I Open Eyes
I Open Eyes is a socially conscious clothing company launched in 2006 by high school students Kate Noble and Denell Falk as a for-profit business that seeks double bottom line returns through fashion to raise money and awareness for efforts to cure diabetes and cancer.
